Built on River Thames, Tower Bridge or London Bridge was opened by King Edward VII in 1894. It splits into two, raising both the halves allowing the ships to pass on. Dimensions spread of 244 meters in length and 65 meters in height. Daily 40, 000 people cross the bridge. The bridge is open from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm in April-September and 9:30 am to 5:00 pm in October-March. It is one of the most famous attractions in England amongst the tourist all across the world.

Tower Gateway station is around 200 meters from the center of the Tower Bridge. The best way to reach the bridge from Tower Gateway tube station is by foot. It takes only 5 minutes by foot to reach the bridge. One can also take the public buses from the metro station. The bus service is in every 2 minutes.

Tower Gateway station lies on the Circle Line and District of Tube metro system. It lies in between Monument and Aldgate on the circle line. It can also be reached by the District line from Monument and Aldgate East stations. One can reach the Tower Gateway tube metro station by using out of station interchange from Fenchurch Street and Tower Gateway tube stations. There are no cycle parking and toilet facilities at the station.
