Uttoxeter Train station of London Tube is the nearest train station to the Alton Towers. It is about 15 Km from the Alton Towers. There are buses available 9 times a day from the station. Bus number 32A can be used to travel from station to the Alton towers. It takes 23 minutes to reach the place. A taxi can be hired from outside the station, which costs about 20 to 25 pounds one way all the way to the theme park or the Alton Tower Hotel. A taxi takes about 18 minutes.

Uttoxeter railway station lies on the Crewe Derby Line. It lies between Blythe Bridge and Tutbury and Hatton. The train takes 14 minutes to reach Uttoxeter from Blythe Bridge. From Tutbury it’s about 33 minutes and Tutbury lies in the opposite direction to the Blythe Bridge railway station.
