Akshardham Temple, built on NH 24, is dedicated to Bhagwan Swaminarayan. It was built in a record time of 5 years and holds the Guinness Record for being the world’s biggest and comprehensive Hindu temple. It offers an enlightening journey through India art, culture and traditions.
The temple remains open on all days (except Mondays) between 9.30 AM and 6.40 AM. The entry fee for an adult is Rs.170, for senior citizens is Rs.125, and for children over the age of 4 is Rs. 100.
Mobile phones and photography isn’t allowed in the temple premises.
